From a 5-minute conversation with an acquaintance-turned-friend, created a live scoring system for a 20-team charity volleyball tournament. Real-time scoring data was stored and used to determine rankings and playoff brackets, while attendees could follow along on their phones.
Scaling international student-led consulting firm
After getting rejected from the original consulting club on campus, I joined a new upstart competitor in my 2nd semeseter as a founding member. Grew the organization from 8 to 50+ members, 1 to 7 concurrent client engagements per semester, and have a consistent track record of placing alumni in high-agency roles across consulting, finance, and tech. Teams with 180DC NCSU members have won 4 straight Deloitte-sponsored case competitions on campus.
